Utility bills affected by Houston Post Office mail delay

Storm damage at a Houston Post Office is causing a mail delay in Galveston, including utility bills. If you usually receive your water bill this week, expect for the bill to arrive later.

Though the Houston Post Office has reopened, we do not have an estimate for when the bills might arrive in Galveston.

The City of Galveston will waive any late fees accrued from late receipt of the bill.

We encourage residents to access their bills online. To check your balance or pay your utility bill online, please visit www.galvestontx.gov/paymywaterbill
