Smoke testing for Terramar Subdivision starting Jan. 14

Beginning Monday, January 14, 2019 and ending Friday, January 18, 2019, city crews will be performing a smoke test on the City’s sanitary sewer system to determine if there are any possible leaks or breaches.

Residents may experience smoke inside their home if there is an opening in their plumbing. If this occurs, please contact a plumber for repairs. Remember, residents are responsible for any repairs to their plumbing. If there are no leaks the smoke will escape from the vent pipe on top of the house.

Work will begin 8:00 a.m. and end 5:00 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

Please note this smoke test will not interrupt sewer service. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions please contact Public Works Department, at 409.797.3630.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
